Trip to Kuala Lumpur and Medan!

These are some pictures from the trip to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Medan in Indonesia. My friends, Wi, Nan, Kong and I went to visit some of Wi's friends in Medan so we decided to stop over in Kuala Lumpur for a day and then travelled to Medan and stayed there for 2 days.

It was a fun trip actually and we have experienced a lot of new things there. One thing that we can't forget is that when the flight that we were supposed to be on from Medan to Kuala Lumpur was cancelled. It was scheduled to leave at 1040am. We needed to be on this flight because we had connecting flight back to Bangkok in KL. They offered us the flight at 2000pm which was very late and they didn't provide us any hotel in Kuala Lumpur because we would miss the flight. We decided to buy four new tickets from Medan to KL to catch the flight to Bangkok and it was supposed to depart at 3pm BUT!!!! one airplne from another airlines was broken in the midst of the runway so the airport was closed until 6pm. Then the flight that we just bought was also delayed to depart at 730pm so we needed to change flight from KL to Bangkok to the last flight out. We ran to the immigration in KL(we actually asked the officer at the immigration to go through the line of Malaysina passport, the officer said to me "okay you took your friends overthere, you talked a lot hahaha!!) then we took the taxi to the low-cost airlines terminal which is located about 10kms from the KL International terminal...the check-in counter was closed by the time we arrived there.. BUT!! They had to let us in because we told them that their flight was cancelled then we need to buy new tickets then they let us checked-in. It was a good experience actually. By the way, we got the refund for the original ticket by the help of our friends in Medan (the ticket was actually non-refundable) Thanks God for helping us get through all of those situations.. Here are some pics from the trip. sorry again that I took a long time to update this blog... hope you all enjoy the pics

Isaiah!!

Isaiah, my nephew, now has grown up a lot since I saw him last year. He is growing up in a non-christian family. Please continue praying for him and his family that they will get to know Christ. Please also pray for my family too since they are not Christians. God has big plans for them I believe. Here are some pics of my nephew. It took a while till he remebered me since he was very young when I saw him last time hahaha!

a short story worth your read!

The Blind Horse

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each looks like every other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing.

Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him.

This alone is amazing.

If nearby and listening, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field. Attached to her halter is a small bell. It lets her blind friend know where she is, so he can follow her.

As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see how she is always checking on him, and that he will listen for her bell and then slowly walk to where she is, trusting that she will not lead him astray. When she returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, she stops occasionally and looks back, making sure her friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.

Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges. He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we
are in need.

Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping others see.

Good friends are like this ...... ... You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours.

"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly.... leave the rest to God.
